Everything Twilight
Okay, I know I am a bit late on this one, but it’s okay. Whether I went with the bandwagon late, I still know how to appreciate a good book.
So Twilight was the first of the 4 books in the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. I remembered last year when I went home, my friends were talking about this book. I could not relate. It’s been months since I read my last book, mostly because of too much work and too much Wii. Haha.
When the movie came out, I didn’t even watched it. Again, probably because I was still busy.
When I acquired the audiobook early January 2009, I began to go through it, and I found it very interesting. So even though I am not yet done with the book, I went to watch the film (for fear that it might be out of the cinemas, since there was only like 2 showtimes per day then). I was surprised when the cinema was halfway full (of screaming girls, of course) even though the movie was out for less than 2 months.
I’ve finished the book and then went on to the next book, New Moon. This time I bought the book from Barnes and Noble (of course a copy of Twilight, too). Again, it was another good book. Now I’m waiting for a copy of Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Thanks to Joyce and Anjie, and especially to Vina for agreeing to bring it over here.
And since suspense is killing me for the two books (probably another 2-3 weeks wait), I changed the theme of my blog to the Twilight Saga theme. This was created by Chris Murphy but the one I’m using is the modified version by Pau. It’s pretty neat! But right now I’m using the Twilight theme and will probably change it to New Moon sometime this year
I loved this better than Harry Potter. This has a more mature feel to it than Harry’s magic tricks and stuff. Plus, Edward Cullen is just someone every girl would fall in love with.
